Ending a circle

The End

The End in the room menu finishes the circle for everyone at once. It is host-only, and it is immediate — there is no countdown and no confirmation from participants.

Everyone is disconnected and sent onward: to the room's goodbye URL if it has one, otherwise to a goodbye screen.

Use it deliberately. Closing your own tab does not end the circle for everyone else — people can stay talking without you, which is sometimes what you want.

The goodbye URL

Set per room in Creating a room. It is where people land the moment the circle ends: a feedback form, a page of next steps, a donation page.

It must be a full http(s) address. Anything else, or nothing at all, and people see the default goodbye screen.

Your admin may have configured a site-wide default that is prefilled for new rooms; you can override it per room.

The room is not gone

Ending a circle ends that gathering. The room itself, its scene, its settings and its link all survive — meet again tomorrow with the same URL.

To remove a room permanently, delete it from the room list. Historical usage is retained for reporting.

People leaving on their own

Participants can leave whenever they like by closing the tab or reloading. They disappear from the ring and the circle carries on. Nothing needs doing on your side, and they can rejoin from the same link.
